How Often Should You See a Medium

Creating space for deeper connections with Spirit and your own healing journey

Grief can leave us with an ache that words struggle to soothe. When someone we love passes into spirit, the need to feel close to them again can become overwhelming. As a psychic medium, I understand this longing deeply—it is the reason many people first reach out to someone like me.

Mediumship offers profound healing by validating that our loved ones are still with us. Through evidential readings, spirit communicates through thought, memory, sensation, and feeling. These sessions often bring comfort, clarity, and sometimes tears of relief. But as powerful as a single reading can be, it’s important to understand that mediumship is not a replacement for grief work or personal agency—and that spacing out readings allows for a deeper, richer connection over time.

Why Wait?

In my practice, I gently recommend a waiting period of six months to a year between sessions. This isn’t to delay your healing, but to honour the natural rhythm of spirit and life. When someone first passes, the energy is often still settling. While spirit may come through quickly, much of what they’ve experienced in their continued journey may not yet be ready to share. Over time, something beautiful happens: Post-Life Evidence begins to emerge. This is what your loved one has witnessed since their passing—what they’ve seen unfold in your life, how they’ve remained present during important moments, and what they’ve observed from their new perspective. These insights bring a sense of ongoing connection that validates the idea that death is not an end, but a transformation.

I strive to bring through fresh, specific, and heartfelt details in each reading. I take my work seriously and don’t want to offer repeated information that you've already received. Spirit, too, wishes to share more than a moment—they want to grow with you, witness your healing, and offer guidance when the time is right.

Healing Takes Time—and So Does Integration

The time between readings isn’t just for spirit—it’s for you. After a session, you may need space to reflect, grieve, heal, or even take inspired action. Allowing time between sessions helps you integrate what was shared and make empowered choices on your own path. One of the greatest risks of having readings too often is unintentionally handing over your personal power. While mediumship and psychic insight can offer guidance, it’s essential that you remain the author of your life. My goal is never to tell you what to do, but to help you see situations from a higher perspective—so you can make decisions that align with your truth.

Spirit’s Role in Your Life

Spirit doesn’t just want to prove they still exist—they want to help. In later readings, they may offer guidance around areas of life such as work, family, relationships, or your soul purpose. The longer the space between readings, the more there is to show and share. It allows spirit to help me help you—not just with grief, but with life.

This is why I describe mediumship not as a one-time message, but as an evolving relationship. When respected with patience and intention, the connection deepens. You feel less alone, more supported, and more confident in your choices.

A Closing Thought

Mediumship is sacred. It’s a meeting between worlds—yours and spirit’s. It works best when approached with reverence, openness, and a willingness to allow both yourself and your loved ones in spirit the time needed to prepare, reflect, and co-create a meaningful connection. If you’ve already had a reading with me and are wondering when to return, I encourage you to check in with your heart. Has something significant changed in your life? Are you ready to hear more from your loved one—not from longing, but from readiness?

Spirit is patient. And I am too. When the time feels right, they’ll be there—and so will I.
